So it’s been done but i am far from happy with the outcome so i will be redoing it in conjunction with my next project with a means to buy a domain name and officially officially launch my site.

So i may of hit a snag. I’ve been trying to code a site which uses css3 fade in properties and transitions but still have sliding backgrounds for each page. Unfortunately it seems i may not be able to have both so i think i may have to decide which i prefer and go for it……..
Or depending on time do 2 versions and see which one the people want
Just a couple days into a building my Lunar Base Design portfolio and things are moving swimmingly. Managed to figure out fullscreen backgrounds and have fade in on load ups sorted. Main things left to do are to get started on the page backgrounds which is gonna involve learning some of illustrator then applying it to make make cel shaded backgrounds, learning accordions for one of the pages and some other bits and bobs. May have a pic to upload soon so stay tuned.
Easy to find, but easy to overlook, step your CSS3 game up with this handy generator.
Stumbled across this handy form maker, Very basic but gets the job done.
So just spent a few hours in the lab hard at work. I’ve finally come up with a set design and now i’m loading content in. At this moment in time it’s a functional site but has no edge to it so that’s what i’ll be trying to add over the coming days.
On a side note as well it’s the first site in mainly white i’ve done so i’m anxious to make it work, we’ll see how it progresses
So i’ve been assigned the mission of redesigning a restaurant website in order to give my take on how it should look. I’ve decided to redesign Chez Coors website which is a family owned Jamaican restaurant based in Nottingham. While on my way home i used Sketchbook Mobile on my phone to draw a wireframe as you can see below. For now though i’m off to mission control to start planning the site.
